The first synthesizer I ever played was in the 1970s in Jr high school and was an Arp Odysessy. It blew my mind and changed my life.

In the early 2000s I had an original "gray meanie" Arp 2600. It's appeared on many of the Sweeping the Noise Floor and other recordings.

I recently purchase a modern clone of the original Arp 2600 and felt inspired to put all my other projects aside for a bit and just focus on that. These recordings are 100% that one instrument with no effects. All tracks were played live and recorded direct in stereo using just the single 2600 and no external controllers or equipment.

For those who geek out to such things, there is an intentional musical motif and theme to this. That said. it may not reveal itself easily. You know, like life itself. I suggest putting on headphones and zoning out in your favorite comfy spot with or without the lights out.

Have a drink, mix it up.
